Certificate II in Sport and Recreation is just one of the vocational pathway options students at Freshwater Christian College can complete in their senior years at our College. This entry-level qualification will help students commence a pathway to careers in areas such as community recreation centres, aquatic centres or even a coaches assistant. Students will learn how to respond to emergency situations, how to provide quality customer service and participate in workplace health and safety. At Freshwater Christian College students are given the opportunity to complete their PADI Open Water or Scuba Dive Qualification as part of this Certificate, students particularly enjoyed spending time on the reef and learning all about exploring our tropical Great Barrier Reef.
Congratulations to our FCC Certificate II in Sports and Recreation – Diving students who have all recently achieved this qualification and either a PADI Open Water or Scuba Dive qualification. Students spent time during PGP, after school and weekends completing many units including the knowledge and skills of diving, environmental impacts and social and cultural inclusion. 
Certificate II in Sport and Recreation is not the only qualification available to students at the College.
