We have had lots to celebrate recently in our Kindergarten! We have enjoyed celebrating the Lunar New Year and our diverse family cultures. The children who celebrate Lunar New Year came to Kindy wearing their cultural attire. The students also shared their special Asian foods and spoke briefly about their traditions. The following week we had a ‘Cultural Day’, every child celebrated their culture by wearing their special clothes, bringing their cultural food to try, and they shared about their own family origins. We have all learnt so much about each others’ cultures and enjoyed celebrating where we’ve come from and how great it is to all belong in this beautiful country of Australia.
