How to Apply
Thank you for considering Freshwater Christian College for your child’s education. Our safe, nurturing and supportive Christian learning environment will help to ensure that your child will be cared for and engaged with a high-quality learning experience. With demand increasing for places at Freshwater, it is never too early to commence the process of enrolment. Everyone is welcome at our school and no catchment areas or zones apply.
Prep to Year 12 Application Process
The application and enrolment process is simple and our Enrolment Officer, Anita Howard, is available to assist you every step of the way.
1. Application
Complete an online Application for Enrolment. A non-refundable application fee of $110 is required on submission of this form and relevant documents will be required such as birth certificate.
2. Interview
Students and parents will be invited to attend an interview with the relevant Head of School. Copies of a students most recent school report and any other relevant information will be requested prior to the interview.
3. Offer
A Letter of Offer is issued following the interview process and is at the discretion of the College. Your child’s place is secured by signing and returning the documents and paying the Enrolment Deposit Fee of $400 which will be credited to your account for future school fees.
4. Induction Meeting
Parents and students are invited to attend an Induction Meeting prior to commencement at the College. This will ensure your child feels confident and comfortable on their first day of school.
Enrol in Kindergarten
Situated on our College Campus our Cairns Kindergarten is a world of creativity and exploration. With demand high for enrolments, we encourage you to commence the enrolment process as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Our Kindergarten enrolment process is outlined below.
1. Visit Us
Book a Tour of our Kindergarten.
2. Application for Kindergarten
Complete our application form and supporting documents.
3. Enrolment Interview and Confirmation
Once your paperwork has been received, we will be in contact with you regarding a time and day to come in for an interview with our Director Mrs Belinda Raine.
You will be able to meet her and the Teachers, look around the Kindy and ask as many questions as you would like.
4. Orientation Meeting
Parents and students are invited to attend an Orientation Meeting prior to commencement at the College. This will ensure your child feels confident and comfortable on their first day of school.
