This year’s Inter-house Athletics Carnival was a fantastic event, giving our Freshy students the chance to test their limits, to run faster, jump higher and throw further.  On a day bathed in sunshine, the students lit up the track with some impressive times leading to some very close finishes on the line.  Out in the field, we also had some exciting results, with some students dominating across a number of disciplines, others surprising themselves with personal bests, and plenty of others out there giving it a go. It was also pleasing to be able to welcome back our parents to cheer on the kids adding to the community carnival atmosphere of the day.

In the race for the 2021 House trophy, there was a changing of the guard as the Fuller Crocs rose to take the trophy in both the Secondary and Primary divisions. Aside from the results, the day saw some excellent competition and participation across the ages from 8-year-olds all the way up to the Open age group.  We also had some excellent individual performers who will go on to the TCN District competition and possibly beyond.  Well done Freshwater on another great Athletics day.
