40 years strong, Freshwater Christian College is a leading private independent Christian College educating boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year 12, with a current student population of 580 students. Our campus is located in Brinsmead, Cairns and we enjoy a beautiful tropical environment.

Head of Secondary STEM (Chemistry)

Freshwater Christian College invites applications for an ongoing full-time Head of STEM in our Secondary school which includes Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. 

This position will commence on 12 January 2024.

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will bring a strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and pedagogical practice in the Secondary Sciences area. 

The successful candidate will also be fully aligned with the Christian values and beliefs of Freshwater Christian College, and seek a role providing opportunities to utilise their talents and skills to make a difference in the lives of our students and the wider College community.

  • Hold relevant teaching qualifications and experience;
