Freshwater Christian College is a private, independent Christian College located in beautiful tropical Brinsmead, Cairns. We cater for boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year 12, with a current school student population of 580.

Primary Teachers (3 positions)
Freshwater Christian College is seeking a highly talented and enthusiastic Primary teacher to commence shortly (the start date is negotiable). There are three positions available. One is permanent, and two are to cover staff who will be on leave.

Selection Criteria
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold relevant teaching qualifications;
- Hold Queensland College of Teachers Registration;
- Be able to sign and abide by the College’s Statement of Faith;
- Be able to abide by the Staff Code of Conduct at all times;
- Have the ability to work with all members of the College community (teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, students, and visitors) both individually and as a member of a department team;
- Be fully aligned with the values, virtues, and Christian beliefs of Freshwater Christian College, and be seeking a role where they are able to utilise their talents and skills to make a difference in the lives of our students and the College community;
- Be legally permitted to work in Australia.

Secondary School English and Humanities Teacher
Freshwater Christian College is seeking an experienced Secondary School English and Humanities teacher to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team. This position is a permanent part-time position, 4 days per week (0.8 FTE), for an initial term contract.

Casual Relief Teachers

- be legally permitted to work in Australia as a registered QCT Teacher.
